Mission Statement

To use the historical lakefront mansion as a resource for celebration and presentation of the arts in our culturally diverse community.

NLCC conducts cultural events and activities that are site-specific in nature.. Use of the mansion for artistic presentations (theater, art and music) are mostly related to the space and must fall within the boundaries of our mission statement. Cultural activities at NLCC include the visual arts (the second floor of the building is a gallery), performing arts, historical activities, language arts and writing, the humanities and the gathering of community residents and organizations to participate in discussions and planning for their communities' quality of life.

What's Happening at NLCC

Besides our usual activities (ECC after school programs, Jazz Supper Clubs, gallery exhibits, concerts and theater), NLCC is busy making preparations for next year's organization and building anniversaries. Click here to find out how you can get involved.

It is with great sadness that we report the passing of our beloved board member, Laurie Sucher. Her cheerful enthusiasm and generosity of time and talent are sorely missed at the mansion. Follow this link for a retrospective of her work with NLCC.
